Mary Ellen Wild opened the event center to accommodate receptions, meetings and private parties; allowing clients the freedom to create their own atmosphere by choosing music, food and "hands-on" decorating. The rustic, western building with patio has great views of the Devil's Backbone. The exterior gives you the feel of an old stage stop. The interior is approximately 1700 square feet finished with barn wood walls and wood flooring. The main gathering room has a 20 foot long bar inlaid with western artifacts. Immediately off of the main room is a smaller meeting area and the outside entrance to the flagstone patio. The building comfortably accommodates up to 80 guests.
The center is just across the street from Larimer County Glade Road Park and the Big Thompson River, located 2.4 miles west of Loveland in the foothills just off of U.S. Highway 34. At the intersection of Wilson and Highway 34, go west until you see the Devil's Backbone rock outcropping. At the bottom of the hill is Glade Road, make a right hand turn going north and turn immediately left or west on Wild Lane for approximately one block. For a map, click here.
